Your Business Has A Purpose, Show It Off On Your Cards!
It’s Friday and as you well know that means it’s a short but sweet post today on exactly how you can maximize your business card’s success rate without maximizing how much you actually spend on it. Obviously we’re large supporters of buying all your business cards at OvernightPrints.com as they are not only extremely affordable, they’re extremely high quality and your cards always, yes, always, look brilliant and beautiful. That said, how can you show off your business and its purpose on a simple in expensive card? Check it out…
These cards belong to a dentist, that much is extremely obvious, and if you look you can tell it’s just a cool design on a traditional rectangular card. Where this guy really set himself apart, however, is when he designed the bottom half of the card to look like teeth and then inserting little pieces of dental floss in and out of the teeth drawings. In short, Genius and amazingly creative! It just goes to show that you don’t have to pay huge sums for die cut cards, laser cutting or even embossing, sometimes all it takes is a great design and a little out-of-the-box thinking to transform a rectangular card into a brilliant and spot-on representation of your company.
Check them out, then head over and start thinking outside the box for YOUR business cards. You never know how brilliantly you can think until you try. Show us what you come up with, show us your designs, we’d love to see them!!

Front Side: Simple Back Side: Creative
On this site there have been many, many times we’ve talked about just how important it is to stay simple with your business card design. While that remains true, here’s an idea we hadn’t covered before: What if you stayed simple on one side of the card while getting wildly creative and unique on the other? That way you are getting the best of both worlds, the simple luxury of a card that says very little and the creative force of a card that fits your personality exactly. Two birds, one stone…or card.
That’s exactly what the business card we found today did. They combined the extremely simple design that included just a tiny graphic of an elephant with only two words in a very monochromatic scheme. The text and elephant are in pink while the entire rest of the front side of the card is just gray. You really can’t get much more simple than that. However…flip that same card over and on the back you’re greeted by a powerhouse of beautiful text design and all of the contact information you could possibly need. Literally the ‘best of both worlds’ is at your finger tips and you can have two completely different feels simply by flipping the card over. Perfect.
So, as you design your next round and batch of business cards, keep one thing in mind: Business cards have TWO sides despite the fact that the vast majority of designs only employ one. Why not put both sides to work for you and show off just how creative, and just how classic you can be. Two sides, two designs, two aspects of YOUR business’ personality. Perfect.

Stay Simple, Stay Great: Business Card 101
It’s Friday and as you have probably come to learn by now, Friday’s usually mean we want to re-iterate a very simple, very important tip to you. Today is no different and we want to end this chilly October week with a tip that we’ve offered up a thousand times, but we’ll offer it up a thousand more when we find a perfect example of that tip in action.
Today, we did just that…we found an example of a business card that took our tip about keeping things simple and blew it out of the water. The card belongs to Enrique Serrano and is such a brilliant example of how simple you can go with a business card and still have it look, well, perfect. He combined a blue/black square background with only 2 lines of text, his name and his web address and to be honest, that’s all he needed.
Remember that next time you design a business card, you don’t have to be flashy or loud or over the top, all you have to do is convey a simple idea in a way that everyone, everywhere can relate. The only question left to ask, is what are you waiting for? Head over and start designing your business cards today, keep our tips in mind and I have no doubt that every person you hand one out to will remember you for exactly what you are!
